Keynotes and Workshops

Eric is offering keynote presentations and well as more extended PD sessions based on The Power of Joyful Reading, his new book. In these presentations Eric shares his new professional development book alongside his popular, original, Pete the Cat stories as well as The Nuts and Groovy Joe. Teachers will have a great time and learn important skills that help them keep reading joyful in both in person and virtual classrooms.

About the book:

The Power of Joyful Reading: When young children are immersed in joyful and engaging shared reading experiences throughout the day, something wonderful happens. They learn to love books, enjoy reading, and see themselves as readers. They also gain reading skills and knowledge, which prepares them for reading instruction. Eric's new professional development book, The Power of Joyful Reading, released July 26, 2020, gives you what you need to transform your classroom into a "reading playground" - a space in which children read along to, sing to, dance to, and celebrate words and texts. In this interactive presentation.
