Winner of the East Cobb PTA Award for Outstanding Program for Excellence in the Arts 2002-2003 Write and record a music CD, at your school, with award winning recording artist
Mr. Eric. In this exciting program students experience creative writing, sing
and learn about
tempo, melody and harmony and explore computer technology. They also celebrate
teamwork by performing and recording their song together. School may sell the
CDs as a cultural arts fund raiser. Here's how its done:
"My daughter is Holly. She goes to Davis Elementary and is in
Mrs. Moore's room. I want to thank you so much for the CD you made with
her class. It was such a wonderful surprise to open on Christmas day.
To hear Holly singing on a CD is such a valuable experience for her and the
rest of our family. If I can help you in any way, please let me know."
